Ground Model - Actual situation The site is a quarry in the North of England. The site needs to be rehabilited for the public. Spoil materials are left on site. 25% of the total excavated soil is to be used for a restoration scheme.
	Ground Model - Proposed design The idea was to soften the hard edges of the quarry to make it secure for a public use. I created an open theater. The sittings are on a gentle slope and open towards a circular scene. It is opened to any festival activities, concerts and meetings.
	Photomontage - Sacred space The space would be surronded by a line of structural trees for shade. It would be an invitation for reflection and appreciation of the landscape character.
